The AuthorDr. Bernadette Mondejar-Schlueter was born and raised in Tacloban City, Philippines. As an educator and a lifelong learner, she has completed four degrees to date, including a doctorate. She was a teacher and an administrator in the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Guam, Belgium, and currently, in the United Kingdom.Dr. Schlueter was selected as the 2012 Department of Defense Education Activity Korea District Teacher of the Year and one of Filipina Women’s Network‘s 2016 Most Influential Filipina Women of the World. |

The IllustratorEd Rompal is one of the most prolific artists in Tacloban City, Philippines. He was influenced by his artist father and started drawing at four years old. A self-taught artist, he continues to evolve and dabbles in imaginative illustrations, cartoons, graphic tees, and calligraphy. His works have been featured in several local and international magazines. He offers basic art workshops throughout the year. |

He was part of at least 11 teleseryes, more than any actor has done in Philippine television. He was the Gawad Tanglaw Best Supporting Actor for the movie Dalaw, and Star Awards Best Actor for the teleserye Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin.A serious sportsman, he regularly competes in golf and polo tournaments locally and internationally. He is also a painter and has a burning passion to constantly learn and master new skills. As a student, he wrote the lyrics of JEMCC’s school hymn. After working for the Department of Education for 14 years, he moved to the Philippine National Police and is currently a member of the Non-Uniformed Personnel in San Roque, Northern Samar. He is a father of nine children, three girls and six boys. |
